Spread over three levels and 550m² of interior space, the central level of Chalet Couttet is the main hub of the chalet, hosting an expansive living/dining/kitchen area in a contemporary open-plan design. Towering ceilings rise above the chalet’s structure, where light alpine wood and tall windows combine for an airy, modern feel. A stylish log burner blesses the lounge area with warmth, with ample seating to help you relax. A central, fully-equipped kitchen with spacious island worktop separates the lounge area from Chalet Couttet’s dining area. The chalet’s interior living spaces impress, but it is the outdoor spaces where the chalet truly shines. Extending off the main living floors is an extensive terrace and garden, where you will find outdoor lounge areas, alfresco dining, and even a gondola cabin, plentiful seating areas to enjoy the late afternoon sun and bask in the majesty of the Mont Blanc Massif.

The terrace is also home to two of Chalet Couttet’s marvellous wellness features. A heated outdoor swimming pool is a fantastic place to unwind after a day of skiing in Chamonix, with a covered top to protect from the elements. There is also a sizeable outdoor hot tub, an enticing spot to soothe any tired legs. Alternatively, head inside the chalet for your post-ski relaxation, with a sauna, Hammam, and yoga studio offering a mix of ways to rejuvenate any aching muscles.

On the ground floor of the chalet, the same level as the spa area, Chalet Couttet boasts some excellent entertainment features. The cinema lounge utilises high-tech projector screen and surround sound systems for the ultimate home theatre experience. Outside the cinema lounge is a further lounge area, with a small bar area for refreshments, and a pool table for some exciting evening competitions.

Chalet Couttet welcomes groups of up to 10 guests, with five luxurious bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms. Two of these double bedrooms are master suites, both with a freestanding bathtub, while the other three bedrooms have the capability of being taken as twin rooms instead. Each bedroom has been individually designed to a high standard, with sumptuous modern furnishings, and thematic decor with each room named for an animal. The butterfly, fox, and penguin rooms are all vibrant and colourful, while the stag and wolf rooms have a more noble quality to their decoration. The penguin and fox room, work well as a family suite as the two room can close off to the rest of the chalet, ideal for keeping little ones close by.

For convenience, Chalet Couttet has a ski room with boot warmers, laundry facilities, and parking spaces available for guest use. Additionally, Chalet Couttet has an eco-friendly underfloor heating and hot water system.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 10 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with mid-week housekeeping and a morning bread and pastry delivery.

Chalet Couttet is a luxury chalet in Chamonix, located in the Pelerins district of the Chamonix valley, with the Mont Blanc, Aiguille du Midi, and other breathtaking peaks at its doorstep.

From Chalet Couttet, it takes 7 minutes driving time to get to the PlanPraz gondola, giving access to the Brévent-Flégère ski area of Chamonix. Les Houches down the valley is 8-10 minutes drive, offering more family-friendly and treeline skiing. Chamonix’s other ski areas are a 17-20 minutes drive up the other end of the valley, whilst the famous Aiguille du Midi cable car and tourist attractions are only 5-minutes away in the car.

The centre of Chamonix, a lively mountain town with lots of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, can be reached in just a 7-minute drive. Conveniently, the chalet is only 200m from the nearest train station and bus stop, allowing you to transport up and down anywhere in the valley with ease.
