Possibly one of the best Plazzatravels I have ever stayed in with the most wonderful host. The administrator was extremely helpful with fantastic local knowledge and recommended the best hikes for me and my partner to do. We were simply blown away by the beauty of the surroundings and this chalet is the most idyllic base with many hikes starting and finishing from the front door. The chalet itself has a view which was out of this world, it was spotlessly clean and the administrator had thought of everything we might need. This place is more than a 5 star rating - it’s a 5 million star. The only downside is that we had to go home! I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone considering booking.

We stayed for 11 days, at the high we were 7 people, and the house is large enough to ensure we didn't step on each other's toes and to store ski equipment etc. The house itself is very cosy. Furniture, fixtures, decorations and appliances are more on the vintage side - which is great for somebody seeking a "homey" feeling. We very much felt at home and loved it. We cooked at home quite a few times just because it felt so comfortable. It's not new/luxurious so not for everybody. The views are beautiful and it's mins away by foot from the main drag for restaurants and shopping. The administrator is very nice and has been extremely responsive, attentive, and understanding (we had to change plans and shift the booking around a bit). The guy looking after the house lives onsite which is convenient, and is responsive and helpful - albeit he has a day job so at times there is latency.

I wish we could have spent more time at this spacious and charming Chalet in Cortina. The location was very convenient for walking to town and the bus station and had a great view of the surrounding mountains from the wrap around porch. We made use of several amenities including the coffee maker, the washer and drying rack, and a well-equipped kitchen. Rooms were comfortable and we appreciated having several full bathrooms. The neighbor Konstantin was very pleasant and helpful and made check-in and check-out very easy.

The view of the farm with cows and horses and the fantastic surroundings were perfect. A small minus point, however, was that neither enough toilet paper nor soap were there for the stay - especially because the listing stated that this was available in the apartment. This is especially annoying if - like us - you are on vacation there over holidays.

The apartment is very spacious. There is plenty of room to cook, dine and rest. Bedrooms are good sized and the beds and the bedding are comfortable. Within 2 min walk you could reach gondola to take you to the slopes. Courmayeur town centre is very beautiful and full of character with historical buildings and squares. It is not a resort village, it has a real authentic feel. There is a good vibe to it. There are plenty of good restaurants and many stylish shops. We would definitely recommend.
